When it comes to logo design, I prefer simplicity over fluff. And as a writer with graphic design skills, my specialty is stylish font-based logos. However, I can also create a logo from scratch using a photo or individual elements in Canva. My process includes the following;

I predominantly design in Canva, so you can't trademark your logo, but most of us don't. So, if you are a small business owner on a budget, call me because I am always happy to help.

As a content and copywriter, I can provide you with effective social media captions and visuals to suit. Based on your brief and most effective tactic, I will use the right language and tone to create social media content that speaks to your ideal customer. Headlines are my superpower!

Regarding social media visuals, you have a few options, either Canva visuals or infographics, Adobe stock images (paid) or Freepik (free images) or you can use your own to accompany my content. Prices are in the social media section on this page.

Can you do creative magazine & newspaper ads?

Yes, while honing my skills at a daily newspaper, I discovered I had a keen eye for design and copywriting. I can tap into your customer's persona and determine what would make the most compelling message for your advert.

I prefer to use Canva to design visuals, and I can create print-ready files for one-off adverts or a campaign. I am happy to liaise directly with the publisher should you find it easier to leave it to me.

I want brochures, can you help me with the design and content?

Yes, as a copywriter I am able to help you determine the right words and attention-grabbing headlines to promote your products or services. By focusing on the problems you solve for your target audience, I can create promotional material that helps increase customer enquiries.

I also have a flair for design, and with your images (or stock images) I can design an effective brochure that aligns with your branding perfectly (including determining the best layout for each page).

Are printed marketing materials still effective?

What sort of logo design services do you offer?

I won't lie, I am a lover of fonts and simple, fresh, modern designs. In Canva I can access a range of elements or use images to create a custom logo to suit your new business (or rebrand). I can trace elements in an image to create a unique logo, like the one I made from a photo of my feet.

Typically, I work with small business owners who don't plan to trademark their logo. If you are unsure if I would be the right person for the job, give me a bell to find out. I love flexing my creativity and would be only too happy to help.

Can you help me with Meta or Google Ads?

I do not currently handle Meta or Google Adverts. However, I can create social media visuals, including reels from a selection of photographs set to music.
